The information technology computer labs with more than 200 computers connected with LAN using switches and two servers for the internet, academic work, and local network access. In addition to this, University has fully equipped R&D/Project Labs with Softwares and Development tools.
The Division of Electronics Engineering of the School of Engineering was conceived with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The electronics lab involves testing electronic circuits that use the properties of components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, and transistors to achieve a particular functionality. The tuned circuit, which allows the user of a radio to filter out all but a single station, is just one example of such a circuit.
The School has following fully equipped laboratories with the state-of-the-art equipments:
The mechanical workshop undertakes the construction of all mechanical systems, whether they be flight or developmental. These vary from plasma detectors to full telescopes and from radiation shields to cryogenic coolers.
Capabilities include CNC and manual, milling and turning along with EDM and sheet metal forming abilities. The engineering performed in the mechanical workshop focuses on producing specialized, high-precision low-volume parts for laboratory and space instrumentation.
These vocational trades provide the students to observe the view of basic practical activities associated with all branches of engineering. Workshops are scheduled regularly over each semester.
The Physics Lab at SRM University has the most modern pieces of equipment needed for not only conducting practical but also helpful for research and development work. The faculty of physics is devoted to the improvement of the student’s knowledge and also to undertaking an advanced research study.
Our Chemistry Labs are fitted with granite tops fitted with all accessories required to conduct every experiment. All glass wares and chemicals are available for conducting the practicals in the lab with all accuracy.
A special centre for Drug, Design Discovery & Development, our C4D laboratory is engaged in developing new drugs vaccines for the effective health management.
